BRIDGETT SCHMITZ
Owner & Lead Stylist
Bridgett is an owner of Bare Roots Salon & Spa. She brings to the salon over 16 years of experience as both a stylist and a salon owner. Bridgett studied at Eric Fisher Academy and has continued to mentor under Eric Fisher over the years. In her career as a hair stylist, Bridgett has developed a passion for pampering women and inspiring them to feel their best! Bridgett's vision for Bare Roots Salon & Spa is to build a team of stylists that she can help inspire to continue to deliver top level service to our Bare Roots clients. She also is excited and blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the Andover community, as this town is near and dear to her heart. When Bridgett is not behind the chair cheering on her staff, you can find her having a nice glass of wine, hanging out with her son, or spending time with her family.
Maleigha Prieto

Maleigha graduated Hays Academy of Hair Design in 2016 and has been working behind the chair with clients ever since! She is a Great Bend native but has resided in Wichita for the last 5 years! Thick hair is her jam! Maleigha loves blinding of all sorts, doing any type of vivid colors and she LOVES cutting hair (yes that includes curly cuts too!!) Education is a top priority for her; getting my hands on any class she can! In her free time you can catch her outside walking the trails or at her favorite store… GOODWILL
Kaitlyn Blackburn
Kaitlyn joined the Bare Roots Salon & Spa Team in February of 2023. She is a graduate from Cowley County Community College receiving her Associates in Applied Science and Cosmetology in May of 2022. Since then, she has been working with clients and doing what she loves! Kaitlyn loves doing all things blonde whether it be highlights, all over blonding, balayage, etc.! During her career, Kaitlyn has also developed a love for all things skin care and provides relaxing facials and treatments for her clients. Her absolute favorite part about this career is being able to make people feel comfortable and beautiful in their hair and skin by enhancing and taking care of the features clients already have to give them that confidence boost they may need!! Turning that chair around and having their face light up in excitement and joy is by far her favorite part of the day! When Kaitlyn is not changing looks behind the chair or relaxing clients in the spa, she is most likely at home crafting and refurbishing items.
